Through challenges, you grow working together with others. When you know your destination, you learn to be resilient.
There are many connections between the items in the pictures. Many of them are very structural, as I have a very structured life. The challenges picture of money is the "$5 bill challenge," in which my husband and I plan to use to travel, connecting to the destination picture. This space is my favorite room in my home, it's my work-free sanctuary, my bedroom. My current mood during this quickfire was calm, intentions to relax after a long weekend. Spending time in this room allows for me relax and decompress. There were a few different emotions I felt; anxiety, tired, and excited. I was preparing for the week, settling in, and thinking about the week to come. In regards to leadership, I was thinking about the field trip I'll be taking my students on. Asking myself if I've prepared everything and one for the day. Leaders emotion has a great impact on the room. I know that in the classroom, we need to be calm and collected, level-headed. It's a necessity when making multiple decisions at a time in different situations. I also believe, that when your leader is stressed, it's passed onto those they lead. When the weight is carried by leaders, all feel it, not just them.
